The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has constituted its Osun State Election Management Council to coordinate and oversee campaign activities ahead of the upcoming governorship election.
The party announced on Friday that the council will lead preparations leading up to its grand final campaign rally scheduled for Monday, August 10, 2026, in Osogbo.
According to the official announcement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the ADC, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the campaign council is headed by a four-member executive team chaired by former Governor of Cross River State, Senator Liyel Imoke.
Serving alongside Imoke as Co-Chairmen are former Sokoto State Governor, Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal; former Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha; and General Kabiru Nadama.
The party disclosed that the election management council comprises 73 prominent political figures, former lawmakers, and party stalwarts drawn from across the country to drive its political strategy in the state.
The party further announced that its grand final campaign rally will hold at the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park in Osogbo, beginning at 12:00 noon.
The final rally is expected to bring together the party’s national leadership, its governorship candidate, coalition partners, campaign officials, supporters, and members of the general public as the party rounds off its state-wide campaign.
