He specifically urged the citizens and residents of the state to dedicate prayers and supplications for the advancement of the state.
“This is a period of sober reflection on the need to realize the dreams and aspirations of our founding fathers in whom selfless efforts the creation of Osun was made possible. As we celebrate with moderation, I want to sincerely appeal to our people to dedicate prayers for the continued growth, progesss and development of our dear state.”
“As a people, we are at a period where our avowed commitment to the upliftment of our dear state must not be sacrificed on the altar of self-centredness, mediocrity, malfeasance and gross incompetence at the helms of affairs. “I heartily rejoice and celebrate with our people particularly our fathers (transitioned and alive) that fought for the creation of our dear state”, Oyebamiji said.
