Operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested four suspects, Samson John, Olufowora Michael, Odeh Samuel Ejeh, and Olajide Jeremiah following a violent robbery in Ilaro.
The suspects allegedly stormed a resident’s home on April 16, assaulting the victim with an axe before dispossessing him of an iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi confirmed that a locally made pistol, an axe, and the stolen phone were recovered during the operation.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni, has ordered the case transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation, reiterating the Command’s zero-tolerance policy for cultism and violent crime.
