A businessman (name withheld) has allegedly threatened to kill and destroy one of his servants, whom he accused of stealing his money.
Amaeruchi Samuel Uche, who served his master for six years and six months out of the agreed eight years, was accused by his boss of stealing money and claiming ownership of his shop when it was time for him to be settled. The businessman reportedly drove him away from the shop and warned him never to come near it again, threatening to kill him if he failed to return the alleged stolen money.
Out of fear for his life, Amaeruchi fled the town where he was living. However, the boss allegedly sent thugs to his family house, where they destroyed parts of the building, seized some family properties, and set fire to their garden. The family has since been living in fear, as the businessman reportedly vowed to kill Amaeruchi anytime he sets eyes on him if he fails to “return his money” and beg for forgiveness.
During investigations, it was confirmed that Amaeruchi did not actually steal any money from his boss. Sources revealed that the real reason behind the attack was a secret Amaeruchi discovered about his boss, which the businessman did not want to be made public, allegedly linked to his membership in an occult group.
Amaeruchi is said to have gone into hiding as the businessman remains determined to eliminate him. The matter has been reported to the police for further investigation as at the time of filing this report.
