Oborevwori celebrates Orubebe at 67, hails his service to Niger Delta

Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta has congratulated former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godsday Orubebe, on his 67th birthday.

In a congratulatory message issued on Saturday by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Festus Ahon, Oborevwori described Orubebe as a distinguished statesman and public servant who made notable contributions to the development of the Niger Delta region.

The governor noted that Orubebe remained a respected leader whose service to Delta State and the nation continued to stand out.

Oborevwori commended the former minister’s tenure at the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, saying he played a significant role in advancing infrastructure and development projects across the oil-rich region.

“On behalf of the government and people of Delta, I warmly congratulate Mr Godsday Orubebe on the occasion of his 67th birthday anniversary,” the governor said.

He added that Orubebe’s experience and counsel remained valuable to both the state and the country at large.

“He is a distinguished son of Delta whose contributions to the growth and development of the Niger Delta and Nigeria remain noteworthy.

“His dedication to public service and the welfare of the people has left enduring legacies,” he said.

The governor prayed for continued good health and strength for the former minister and wished him many more years of fruitful service to humanity.
