The National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Senator David Mark has said that the recent defection of former Presidential candidates, Peter Obi and Rabi’u Kwankwaso will spur the party to work harder.

Mark made this known when he met with the Forum of ADC Former and serving Federal Lawmakers on Wednesday in Abuja.

Reacting to Obi and Kwankwaso’s exit, Mark said acknowledged the effect of their defection but expressed confidence that the challenges faced by the party would ultimately strengthen its resolve and propel it to victory at the polls.

“No doubt, the exit of Obi and Kwankwaso has its impact, but it will spur us to work harder,” he said.
