The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), chapter Okitipupa, Ondo State, has embarked on an indefinite strike.

According to him, the industrial action is total, comprehensive, and indefinite until the state government implements the 2025 FG-ASUU agreement.
“The agreement includes 40 per cent of Current Consolidated Salary Scale, Earned Academic Allowance (EAA), and Consolidated Academic Tool Allowance (CATA).
“Others are Professorial Allowance, Responsibility Allowance, Supervision Allowance as well as other non- monetary components of the agreement.
“In spite of the state being an oil producing one, the government of the day is not responsive to educational development.”
Newsmen report that, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), another state-owned institution began its indefinite strike on Tuesday, based on the same non-implemetation of the 2025 FG-ASUU agreement by the state government
