Veteran Nollywood actor Don Richard has opened up about his struggle with kidney disease and is calling for financial assistance from the public to cover his ongoing medical expenses.
In an emotional video now circulating on social media, Richard revealed that he has exhausted his resources, selling both his house and car to fund treatments.
“My kidneys started having issues… I’ve sold my house and car. Now, if anything happens, I have nothing else to sell,” he shared.
He also spoke about the strain his health has placed on his marriage, praising his wife’s support and loyalty through his ordeal.
Don Richard’s appeal adds to the growing list of ailing Nollywood veterans who have gone public with their health challenges, following the recent passing of actor Tom Njemanze from prostate cancer.
