The Nigerian entertainment industry has been thrown into deep mourning following the news of the passing of popular Nollywood actor and model, Alexx Ekubo.
He was 40 years old.
According to reports, the actor passed away at a hospital in Lagos on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 following complications from an undisclosed illness.
Known for his charisma, versatility, and distinctive fashion sense, Ekubo was a staple in the Nigerian film industry for over two decades. His filmography includes a wide array of blockbuster hits such as The Bling Lagosians, Omo Ghetto: The Saga, etc
