The NIMASA chief highlighted the diverse and critical roles women play within the maritime domain, spanning from sea-going professionals and ship captains to regulatory experts, engineers, and administrative leaders.
He noted that their professionalism and resilience are fundamental to the daily operations and long-term evolution of the industry.
”The theme ‘Give to Gain’ reflects your daily impact,” Dr. Mobereola stated. “Through your professionalism and leadership, you give excellence, and our sector gains progress, innovation, and sustainable growth.”
Dr. Mobereola reaffirmed NIMASA’s commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where women are not only participants but are empowered to lead.
He pointed out that investing in women through targeted resources, education, and mentorship creates a stronger and more equitable maritime society, which ultimately benefits the national economy.
