The Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) has lifted the suspension placed on the shares of International Energy Insurance Plc. (IEI), allowing normal trading activities to resume on the company’s stock.
In a statement signed by the Company Secretary, IEI explained that the suspension had been connected to regulatory compliance issues relating to the finalization of its 2024 audited accounts.
The company confirmed that the accounts have now been completed and released to the public.
The insurer also announced that it has successfully exited the legacy Daewoo loan, describing the move as a major milestone in its financial recovery and repositioning strategy.
The company noted that the lifting of the suspension marks a new chapter in its journey of recovery and growth, with a focus on strategic plans aimed at strengthening its financial base and improving service delivery to customers.
The company also assured shareholders and investors of its dedication to rebuilding confidence, driving sustainable growth, and delivering long-term value for all stakeholders.
