The Director General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA), Prof. Innocent Barikor has urged Nigerians to support the ongoing reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu across all sectors.

The NESREA made this call during his vsiit to Port Harcourt, Rivers State over the weekend as one of the dignitaries who graced the 36th Convocation Lecture of the University of Portharcourt.

The lecture, titled “Leadership and Infrastructure Development in Nigeria: Lessons for Future Leaders,” was delivered by the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barr. Nyesom Wike.

Speaking, Wike said the President had chosen the hard road of reform because there is no shortcut to national greatness.

He added that the administration has moved beyond rhetoric to execution, with projects in roads, rail, power, housing, and energy now reshaping Nigeria’s economic future.

Prof. Barikor, who was a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Social Sciences before his appointment as NESREA DG, used the occasion to felicitate former colleagues, friends, and students on their achievements.
