NCDMB wins PEBEC Ease of Doing Business Award for 4th consecutive year

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has clinched the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) Transparency and Efficiency Champion Award for the fourth consecutive year, emerging as the top-ranking agency in Ease of Doing Business for 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.

The award was presented on December 2, 2025, at the State House, Abuja. The Executive Secretary of the Board, Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe, was represented by the Acting Director, Monitoring and Evaluation, Mr. Omomehin Ajimijaye, who reaffirmed NCDMB’s commitment to policy reforms and seamless service delivery.

According to him, the consecutive recognition reflects the Board’s drive for operational excellence, transparency, teamwork, and consistent collaboration with partners and industry stakeholders.

The PEBEC Awards and Gala Night, chaired by Vice President Kashim Shettima, celebrated outstanding achievements in public service reforms. PEBEC Director-General, Princess Zarah Audu, commended the NCDMB for automating its processes to reduce human interference, urging other government agencies to emulate the Board’s efficiency model.

In addition to the Ease of Doing Business award, the Board received the Reform Champion Award, presented to Engr. Cityfaith Baribor Zorasi for exceptional performance as NCDMB’s liaison to PEBEC.

The Board reaffirmed its dedication to strengthening institutional performance, improving service delivery, and advancing local industry growth under the NOGICD Act of 2010, pledging to sustain and exceed its current standards.

NCDMB also expressed appreciation to PEBEC for the recognition and commended its staff for their continuous hard work and commitment.
