The Naira ended the week on a stronger footing on Friday in the official market, closing at N1,599.55 against the Dollar after several days of volatility.

This rebound comes after a period of turbulence, during which the local currency wavered in performance over consecutive trading sessions.

The Naira had opened the week on a weaker note following the Easter break, trading at N1,602.63 per Dollar on Tuesday, 22 April, a 0.16 percent depreciation from 17 April’s rate of N1,599.94.

By Wednesday, 23 April, the currency recorded a slight recovery, settling at N1,602.30 per Dollar, reflecting a modest 0.03 percent gain from the previous day’s performance.
