The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has announced that the successful candidates for the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 34/2025 will commence training on April 18, 2026 following the conclusion of the Selection Board Interview held at NAF Base Kaduna between January 12 and February 8, 2026.
The names of the successful candidates have been published on the official NAF recruitment portal for public access.
The successful candidates are scheduled to begin a six-month Basic Cadet Training programme at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Afaka, Kaduna.
In a statement, NAF emphasized that all candidates must report with their original credentials for documentation and admission.
The service stressed that failure to report by 6:00 pm on Monday, April 20, 2026, will result in the automatic forfeiture of the offer.
The Airforce statement further clarified that candidates will only attain the status of NAF personnel upon the successful completion of their training and subsequent commissioning as officers.
