Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has expressed appreciation to workers in the state for their support following his victory in the August 15 governorship election.
The Governor made this known when thousands of workers gathered at the entrance of the Osun State Government Secretariat in Osogbo to offer praise and thanksgiving to God for the outcome of the election.
The governor described the gathering as a strong demonstration of support for his administration, saying it reminded him of the confidence placed in his government by workers and residents across the state.
“I am more than humbled by this remarkable show of support, love, and gratitude to our administration,” Adeleke said.
He added that the victory was not his alone, but belonged to the people of Osun State, particularly workers who, according to him, had contributed to the development of the state.
“This victory belongs to all of us. It is a victory for the workers, for the people of Osun, and for everyone who believes in the progress and development of our dear state,” he added.
Adeleke further thanked the people for trusting his administration and assured them that his government would remain focused on serving their interests.
He said the administration would continue to work with dedication and humility while pursuing policies aimed at improving the lives of residents.
“I remain deeply grateful for the trust and confidence reposed in us,” the governor stated.
He pledged that the government would sustain its commitment to the people and ensure that the renewed mandate translates into greater development across the state.
The governor’s remarks came as supporters and workers celebrated the election outcome, marking another moment of thanksgiving following the closely watched Osun governorship poll.
