Multiverse Mining fixes June 29 for dividend payment to shareholders

Nigerian indigenous mining and exploration company, Multiverse Mining and Exploration Plc, has declared a final dividend of 15 kobo per 50 kobo ordinary share for the financial year ended December 31, 2025.

The company disclosed this in a corporate notice dated May 22, 2026 and signed by the company secretary, Alabiqun Mahmud Bayo, who stated that the proposed dividend is subject to shareholders’ approval at its forthcoming Annual General Meeting and applicable withholding tax deductions.

According to the notice, shareholders whose names appear in the company’s register as of the close of business on Friday, June 5, 2026, will qualify for the dividend.

The company said payment would be made electronically on June 29, 2026, to shareholders who have completed their e-dividend registration and mandated the registrar to credit their bank accounts directly.

To facilitate the process, the register of shareholders will be closed from Monday, June 8 to Friday, June 12, 2026.

Multiverse Mining also advised shareholders with unclaimed dividend warrants or outstanding share certificates to complete their e-dividend registration or contact its registrar to avoid delays in payment.

Meanwhile, Bayo disclosed to the company’s Annual General Meeting will hold on Thursday, June 18, 2026 in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Multiverse Mining and Exploration Plc is a Nigerian indigenous mining and exploration company involved in the extraction and processing of solid minerals. The company is listed on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) and operates within Nigeria’s mining and quarrying sector.
