The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kaduna Sector Command, has announced a change in leadership following a recent redeployment approved by the Corps Marshal.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Thursday in Kaduna by the Command’s Public Education Officer, Route Commander Usman Garba. According to the statement, the outgoing Sector Commander, Tijjani Iliyasu, has been redeployed to lead the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Sector Command.

The Command noted that he brings extensive operational experience, administrative competence, and strategic leadership to the role, having served in various capacities within the Corps.
Upon taking office, Longkam expressed appreciation for his predecessor’s dedication and contributions to improving road safety culture, enforcement, and stakeholder collaboration in the state.
The new Sector Commander assured residents of his sustained commitment to achieving safer roads, reducing crashes, providing prompt rescue services, and enhancing public education. He further urged the public, transport unions, government agencies, and other stakeholders to support the new leadership to ensure improved service delivery across Kaduna’s highways.
