LG Electronics has strengthened its leadership in Nigeria’s electronics and home appliance market after sweeping four major honours at the 2025 Brand Journalists Association of Nigeria (BJAN) Conference & Awards and the Consumer Value Award.
The company clinched awards for Best in Innovation, Best Electronics, Best TV, and Best Washing Machine Brand, reaffirming its reputation for quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
The recognition underscores LG’s sustained investment in advanced technology and its understanding of evolving consumer needs. Over the years, the brand has maintained its position as one of Nigeria’s most trusted names, consistently delivering products that combine durability, performance, and cutting-edge design.
Receiving the awards on behalf of the company, Mr. Paul Mba, Head of Corporate Marketing, LG Electronics Nigeria, described the achievement as a validation of the company’s mission to bring intelligent, high-performing technologies to Nigerian homes. He said the honours reflect the confidence consumers and industry stakeholders continue to place in LG.
“These awards reflect the trust Nigerians continue to place in LG. Our focus has always been on providing appliances and electronics that make life easier, smarter, and more efficient. This honour inspires us to keep innovating and offering products that deliver true value,” Mba stated.
LG’s presence in Nigeria has expanded significantly through the rollout of top-tier products, localized solutions, and reliable after-sales support tailored to local conditions. The brand’s televisions, washing machines, and household electronics continue to rank among consumers’ favourites due to their durability, smart features, energy efficiency, and refined design. This consistent product performance has reinforced LG’s dominance as a market leader and household name nationwide.
The BJAN Awards and Consumer Value Awards are widely regarded as credible platforms for assessing brand impact, product excellence, and customer satisfaction in Nigeria. With journalists, analysts, and consumer advocates involved in the selection process, LG’s multiple wins highlight its ability to deliver on its promises across various product categories.
In an interview, Mr. Moses Osime, Public Relations & CSR Manager, emphasized the significance of the awards, noting that they align with LG’s major milestones achieved throughout the year. He highlighted the LG Tech Innovation Experience, a major 2025 showcase where the company unveiled its latest AI-driven home solutions to thousands of families, partners, and industry experts.
“These awards reaffirm that our commitment is being seen, felt, and appreciated,” Osime said. “They inspire us to keep advancing technologies that bring comfort, efficiency, and reliability to homes nationwide, while ensuring our brand remains a trusted partner in everyday living.”
As consumer needs evolve, LG Electronics says it remains committed to investing in next-generation innovations that promote smarter homes and sustainable living.
