The Lagos State Government, through the Parastatals Monitoring Office, has organised a Knowledge Sharing Session for Heads of Finance and Accounts/Revenue Officers of parastatals, agencies, and government-owned companies.
The event took place at the STO Resource Centre, Alausa.
The session focused on the use of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), automation, and innovation to improve performance, strengthen accountability, and boost revenue generation across government institutions.
Participants engaged in practical discussions on setting measurable revenue goals, tracking performance, and adopting best practices for sustainable fiscal management.
The event was attended by the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Parastatals Monitoring, Hon. Ibrahim Babajide Obanikoro, and the Permanent Secretary of the Parastatals Monitoring Office, Dr. Olugbemiga Aina.
Officials highlighted the importance of leveraging modern technology and innovative strategies to ensure efficiency and transparency in revenue collection, reinforcing the state government’s commitment to improved fiscal management across its institutions.
