Beneficiaries of the Adewale Temitope Adedeji Educational Initiatives have lauded Lagos lawmaker, Adewale Adedeji, for providing free JAMB registration slips to Ifako-Ijaiye residents. They noted that the gesture would rekindle the hope of furthering studies in tertiary institutions and ease financial pressure on parents and guardians.
The beneficiaries spoke during the presentation of 2,000 free JAMB registration slips on Friday. One beneficiary, Mrs. Elizabeth Odumosu, 50, thanked the lawmaker for supporting both youths and adults in pursuing further education. She stated that the initiative has given hope to many who were previously unable to afford examination registration fees.
Another beneficiary, Mrs. Cynthia Austin, said the initiative inspired her children to do better in their studies.
Adedeji, representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency I, stated that the gesture aimed to improve access to education and reduce financial burdens on families. He noted that the initiative aligns with Pres. Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which encourages leaders to support less privileged communities.
The lawmaker urged beneficiaries to remain focused and study hard to succeed in their examinations. Adedeji further assured continued support through free forms and scholarships for outstanding students. The programme was organised by Adewale Temitope Adedeji Educational Initiatives.
