The Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, has declared that Lagos State has become a model of what is possible.
The Deputy Governor made the remarks on Saturday while hosting the 36 State Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at his official residence in Lagos.
The delegation was in the state for a two-day working tour organized by the Lagos State chapter of the APC, led by its Chairman, Barr. Cornelius Ojelabi, to study the state’s landmark infrastructure and socioeconomic projects.
Welcoming the party leadership, the Deputy Governor noted that the massive infrastructure transformation seen across Lagos did not happen by accident, but through decades of deliberate planning, strategic investment, and unbroken governance.
He stated that Lagos State has become a model of what is possible when there is vision, courage, and competence, expressing delight in showcasing transformational projects that are actively changing lives and enhancing opportunities for the people.
He emphasized that the tour serves as a timely and strategic masterclass for the visiting chairmen, offering them a firsthand look at how progressive governance can be successfully executed and sustained over time.
Dr. Hamzat explained that the achievements on display in Lagos are deeply intertwined with the foundational vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He noted that the tour would give the state chairmen a clearer understanding of the ultimate goals of the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly in the critical sectors of transportation, economic development, investment promotion, and job creation.
Reaffirming the state’s unwavering loyalty to the presidency, Hamzat described President Tinubu as the ideal leader to navigate Nigeria through its current challenges, assuring the delegation that Lagos remains fully committed to standing behind the administration to ensure its national policies yield maximum benefits for all Nigerians.
