The Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has appreciated the Federal Government over the ongoing projects of the North West Development Commission (NWDC) in Kano and other States in the Northwest.
He commended the President Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the interventions in the northwestern states through the NWDC.
This was contained in a press release issued by Mustapha Muhammad, the Chief Press Secretary to the Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, at the courtesy call paid on him by the State Minister for Regional Development, Alhaji Uba Maigari Ahmad, said the NWDC will surely continue to touch the lives of people in the region.
“We have seen several developments and interventions in the region; we have to thank His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President, for this development,” the Governor said.
Earlier on, the State Minister for Regional Development, Alhaji Uba Maigari Ahmad, thanked the Governor for all the contributions and support to the Commission.
He mentioned the State Government’s allocation of 2 hectares of land for the permanent site of the Commission and the number of vehicles donated to the NWDC.
He said the Commission will be with the government to ensure the interventions reach the people and where it is meant to.
“You have done a lot for us, too numerous to mention,” the Minister noted.
