KADSEMA donates medical items to boost healthcare in Sabon Gari

The Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency (KADSEMA) has donated medical and non-medical items to Sabon Gari Local Government Area (LGA) to strengthen healthcare delivery in the area.

Usman Mazadu, Executive Secretary of the agency, while making the donation on Thursday in Kaduna, said the gesture was part of efforts to make healthcare accessible to all.

He said it also aligned with the sustained agenda of the state Governor, Uba Sani, aimed at improving the well-being of citizens across the state.

Mazadu was represented by Mr Mohammed Zakari, Director of Disaster and Relief Management in the agency.

He listed the items donated to include an ECG machine, BP machines, medical trolleys, assorted drugs, and beddings.

He reiterated the commitment of the state government to prioritising health and supporting local governments to improve service delivery.

Receiving the items, Kamilu Abdulkarim, Vice-Chairman of Sabon Gari LGA, commended the government for extending the gesture to the area.

He said the intervention would boost healthcare services and support ongoing efforts to strengthen primary healthcare facilities in the LGA.
