Following a successful selection process for applicants among the state’s workforce and political appointees, the Jigawa State Government has announced the formal launch of the Phase III Dry Season Agricultural Loan program.
The Chairman of the Technical Committee on the Workers Agricultural Support Programme, Muhammad K. Dagaceri, who also serves as the Head of Service, has invited key government officials and the public to the official ceremony.
The event will be presided over by the Executive Governor of Jigawa State, His Excellency, Governor (Dr.) Malam Umar A. Namadi.
The launch is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 11:30 AM. The ceremony will be held at the Jigawa Agricultural Supply Company (JASCO) Headquarters, located along Kiyawa Road, Dutse.
The invitees include the Honourable Speaker and Members of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, the State APC Chairman, Honourable Commissioners, Technical and Special Advisers, Permanent Secretaries, Heads of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, Chairmen of Local Government Councils, and leaders of various trade unions.
This initiative is part of the state government’s ongoing commitment to boosting local food production and providing financial support to civil servants and political appointees through agricultural engagement.
