6 Aug 2026

Beta Glass Plc, West and Central Africa’s leading glass container manufacturer, has declared a Profit After Tax of ₦16.16 billion for the six months ended June 30, 2026, according to its Unaudited Interim Financial Statements released by the Board of Directors.

The company recorded a solid financial performance in the second quarter of 2026, generating ₦8.31 billion in Profit After Tax.

This is as the company’s second-quarter revenue surged 13.8% to ₦42.18 billion from ₦37.07 billion in Q2 2025, lifting total revenue for the first half of the year to ₦79.71 billion, a 1.9% increase over the ₦78.23 billion recorded in H1 2025.

Earnings Per Share for the six-month period also stood at ₦26.93.

Commenting, the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Alex Gendis noted that the strong revenue trajectory was driven by sustained domestic demand and export sales.

He added that despite inflationary pressures on inbound logistics and raw material inputs during the second quarter, dynamic pricing models and continued operational discipline are expected to drive margin recovery across the second half of the year, keeping the company on track to achieve its full-year performance targets.
