Gunmen killed Two, Destroyed Goods and went away with Company Truck in plateau state

A 46 year old man Godfrey Tongan driver with AYUS FARMS & COMPANY was thrown down from the vehicle as suspected Fulani herdsmen invaded a farm land belonging to Oba Ayo Adeshiku in kawel mushere, Bokkos local government Area of Plateau state.

Godfrey reportedly overheard a conversation between the herdsmen and concluded it related to one incident that happened on one faithful day of June 17, 2025.

The suspected Fulani herdsmen about 16 in numbers Armed, storm into the farm yard through the back side, shot down a security man “johnson Etuke, Doris Fidelis, “female worker” and elder Yinusa who was the manager of the company, many others escape while some sustains injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Series of attacks were also recorded which made a lot of business men especially the famers become jobless and people can no longer move freely in the town.

This is becoming unbearable “people lament “.
Hunger strikes the town and many were homeless.

Few weeks later, the village youth gather themselves to form a security group called Emergency vigilante group headed by a retired police man supol Andrew Tashini while Kingsley Amarachi Ekwem a native of Abajah in Nwangele LGA Imo state happen to be one of the strong member of the group, they work both day and night voluntary just to make sure peace come back to the town only to discover a village chief was one of the Fulani herdsmen sponsors whose the first son was caught among the perpetrator and was beaten to death.

According to the information generated, the herdsmen now decided to go after the vigilante group in order to eradicate the group totally by killing them.

The herdsmen strikes again, Attacked the main meeting point of the vigilante group, they slaughtered one and three others were kidnapped among the security while Mr Kingsley and one other escaped and abscond out of town.

Since then, series of threatening of calls and text messages from unknown people suspected to be the Fulani herdsmen have been made to Kingsley and others and their wives’ phones that if they hear or see them anywhere in Nigeria, they will be killed.
