Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has said the responsibility of educating children cannot be left to government alone, stressing the need for stronger collaboration among communities, faith-based organisations and private institutions to improve the education sector.
Sani made the remark while inaugurating a facility established by the Christian Academy Management in Ungwan Bulus, Sabon Tasha, Kaduna, at the weekend.
Represented by the state Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Dr James Kanyip, the governor said meaningful progress in education could only be achieved through collective efforts and strategic partnerships among key stakeholders.
“The task of educating our children cannot be left to government alone. Meaningful progress requires collaboration among government, communities, faith-based organisations and private institutions. This is why we greatly value initiatives such as this one,” he said.
The governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to partnering with individuals and organisations dedicated to advancing education, describing investment in young people as a critical pathway to sustainable development.
According to him, supporting education remains one of the most effective ways to secure lasting peace, prosperity and economic growth.
Sani expressed optimism that the newly inaugurated facility would contribute to nurturing young minds and equipping them with the knowledge, skills and values required to become responsible citizens and future leaders.
He also commended the Christian Academy Management for its contribution to the sector, describing the project as a demonstration of the understanding that education is both a social responsibility and a strategic investment in human capital development.
The governor noted that such initiatives complement government efforts to expand access to quality education and create opportunities for future generations.
