Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State, has congratulated the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, on the occasion of his 61st birthday.
Yusuf extended the congratulatory message in a statement issued by his Director-General, Media and Publicity, Sanusi Bature on Friday in Kano.
He described Speaker Abbas as an experienced parliamentarian whose years of public service have contributed to the growth of Nigeria’s democratic institutions.
The governor acknowledged the Speaker’s commitment to legislative responsibilities, particularly his role in promoting effective representation, good governance and national development.
Gov Yusuf said Abbas’ wealth of experience in education, public service and legislation continued to contribute to his leadership of the House of Representatives.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the Speaker continued good health, wisdom and strength to serve the nation and humanity.
Yusuf also wished Abbas more years of happiness, fulfilment and greater accomplishments in the service of Nigeria.
