Digital solutions provider, Globacom, has extended Easter greetings to Christians across Nigeria, urging them to embrace the values of peace, love, and compassion as they celebrate the season.
In a goodwill message issued from Lagos, the telecommunications company congratulated Christians for completing the 40-day Lenten season, describing Easter as a time for reflection, sacrifice, and renewal of faith.
The company noted that the celebration, which commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on Good Friday and His resurrection on Easter Sunday, symbolises hope, redemption, and the triumph of light over darkness.
Globacom commended the devotion shown by Christians during the fasting period and encouraged them to continue to live by the teachings of Christ.
“Christ exemplified these virtues through His life and ultimate sacrifice for humanity. In practising His teachings, we nurture a society guided by harmony, hope, and prosperity,” the company stated.
Reflecting on the significance of the season, Globacom described Easter as a reminder of enduring hope and resilience.
“This season illuminates the eternal cycle of hope reborn, love unceasing, and the triumph of light over darkness. It teaches us the enduring power of sacrifice, forgiveness, and faith, even amidst life’s uncertainties,” the statement added.
The company urged Nigerians to extend kindness to one another and embrace humility and compassion, noting that the resurrection story inspires courage and purposeful living.
Globacom also reassured its subscribers of uninterrupted voice, data, and Short Messaging Services (SMS), alongside other value-added offerings, throughout the Easter period and beyond.
It encouraged customers to enjoy the holiday with family and friends while reflecting on the deeper meaning of the season.
