Unilever Nigeria Plc has published its audited financial results for the year ended December 31, 2025, revealing exceptional growth and robust financial health across all major performance indicators.
The fast-moving consumer goods giant reported a turnover of N214 billion, representing a massive 43% increase from the N150 billion turnover recorded during the corresponding period in 2024.
The company’s gross profit also saw a significant surge, rising by 62% to hit N90 billion. Most notably, Unilever Nigeria successfully doubled its net profit, closing the year at N32 billion compared to the N15 billion recorded the previous year.
Addressing the impressive financial results, the Managing Director of Unilever Nigeria, Tobi Adeniyi, attributed the success to a highly optimized and focused business strategy.
He stated that the strong full-year performance is a direct reflection of a business that is now sharper, faster, and built to win in a competitive market.
Adeniyi explained that this upward momentum stems directly from the strategic allocation of resources toward the company’s power brands, which include household names such as Knorr, Vaseline, Close Up, Pepsodent, and Rexona.
These iconic brands continue to anchor the company’s growth while benefiting from structural tailwinds across their respective operating categories.
The Managing Director emphasized that this disciplined approach reinforces Unilever’s collective intent to build a streamlined organization with a future-ready portfolio capable of driving desirability at scale.
Adeniyi further highlighted how the current business model is translating into better, more reliable value for the consumer.
By embedding clarity, accountability, and speed into the core of their operations, Unilever is now better positioned to innovate and serve the millions of Nigerian households that rely on their products daily.
He reiterated the company’s firm commitment to a play to win culture where excellence in execution is strictly non-negotiable. With over a century of manufacturing heritage in Nigeria, Unilever reaffirmed its dedication to a culture of discipline that continuously improves cost structures, elevates the consumer experience, and honors its legacy of brightening everyday life for all.
