FY 2025: TotalEnergies declares €3.40 dividend

12 Feb 2026

TotalEnergies has announced a proposed dividend of €3.40 per share for the 2025 fiscal year, representing a 5.6% increase over the previous year’s payout.

The decision, reached during a Board of Directors meeting on February 10, 2026, reflects the company’s resilience in a fluctuating energy market. Despite a year-on-year decline in oil prices, the global energy major generated a steady cash flow of $7.2 billion in the fourth quarter alone.

For the full year 2025, TotalEnergies reported an adjusted net income of $15.6 billion. While this figure marks a 15% decrease from 2024 due to lower oil prices, the company’s total cash flow of nearly $28 billion only dipped by 7%, aided by accretive production growth.

Notably, the firm achieved a 12.6% return on average capital employed, marking the fourth consecutive year it has outperformed its major industry peers in this metric.

The proposed final dividend of 0.85 €/share matches the three interim dividends already declared for the year.

Subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming meeting on May 29, 2026, the dividend will be detached and paid in cash. This dividend hike signals management’s confidence in its operational efficiency and its ability to deliver consistent value to shareholders despite the broader industry’s transition and pricing headwinds.
