Fidelity Bank PLC has reportsd a surge in profitability with Profit After Tax (PAT) hitting N214.5 billion.

The audited financial statements for the 2025 fiscal year filed with the Nigerian Exchange Group showcase a bank successfully leveraging digital transformation and an expanded retail footprint to drive record growth.

The financial highlights reveal an increase in Gross Earnings which climbed to N721.8 billion while Profit Before Tax (PBT) reached N251.2 billion.

This performance was underpinned by a disciplined approach to risk management and a significant surge in non-interest income. The bank’s total assets also saw a healthy expansion, reflecting increased customer deposits and a robust lending book focused on critical sectors of the Nigerian economy.

In its quarter 5 summary representing the final year-end adjustments, the bank emphasized its strengthened capital adequacy ratio, which remains well above regulatory requirements.

This financial stability provides a solid foundation for the institution’s ambitious expansion plans into other African markets.

Shareholders are expected to benefit from the strong performance, as the board has indicated a commitment to maintaining its consistent dividend policy.

The management team further reaffirmed its focus on delivering superior customer service and innovative banking solutions to sustain this growth momentum through 2026.
