Foremost Capital Ltd, a Securities and Exchange Commission-licensed asset management firm, has exceeded N60 billion in assets under management (AUM) within its first six months of operation.

Managing Director Emmanuel Akehomen made the disclosure in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja.

Akehomen said the company offers a broad range of conventional and Sharia-compliant products, including portfolio and fund management, liquidity optimisation and financial advisory services.

He described Foremost Capital as an innovation-driven investment house that is redefining wealth creation in Nigeria and beyond.

“The performance comes at a time when many investors are withdrawing funds from other entities.

“Our Board’s vision is to make Foremost Capital Africa’s most trusted and innovative asset manager, pioneering the convergence of conventional and ethical investments to deliver sustainable value for clients.

“The exceptional growth achieved in this short period reinforces our position as a purpose-led and performance-driven market player,” he said.

Akehomen, who also serves as CEO, stated that the company operates with an unwavering focus on transparency, client success and strategic innovation, qualities that distinguish it in a competitive industry.

“Within just six months, we have surpassed N60 billion in AUM, a clear vote of confidence from investors in our products and services,” he added.

He noted that Foremost Capital’s mission is to transform asset management in Nigeria through innovation, discipline and a client-centred approach, with plans to launch new naira- and dollar-denominated mutual funds across both conventional and Sharia-compliant structures.
