A leading solar solutions provider has trained more than 1,000 industry professionals across six Nigerian cities through its 2026 Technical Masterclass.
The company, Kartel Energy Limited is an indigenous solar equipment manufacturer.
The masterclass in its second edition kicked off in Benin City on Thursday, May 14, 2026, and toured Kaduna, Kano, Abuja, Ibadan and Asaba, before concluding on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
The initiative brought together solar installers, technicians, engineers, dealers, distributors, entrepreneurs and renewable energy enthusiasts for intensive sessions focused on practical skills, emerging technologies and business growth.
This year’s edition placed significant emphasis on high-voltage solar systems, training participants on their advantages, applications, installation considerations and commercial opportunities.
Beyond technical content, the masterclass also guided professionals on how to position for commercial and industrial projects, improve profitability and remain competitive in an increasingly sophisticated market.
Speaking on the Masterclass, the Chief Executive Officer of Kartel Energy Limited, Mr. Ola Ogunsemowo, said the nationwide programme was inspired by the company’s commitment to bridge the knowledge gap within Nigeria’s rapidly growing renewable energy industry.
He noted that as solar adoption increased across homes, businesses and institutions, there was a clear need for practical, hands-on training that equips installers, technicians, entrepreneurs and aspiring professionals with the technical skills required to deliver safe, efficient and industry-standard installations.

Ogunsemowo explained that the renewable energy sector in Nigeria is evolving rapidly, with rising demand for reliable alternative power solutions.
He said the industry needs professionals who understand modern technologies, particularly high-voltage systems, advanced inverter solutions and best installation practices.
“The Masterclass provides participants with practical knowledge that keeps them ahead of industry trends while improving the quality and safety of solar installations across the country. Ultimately, a better-trained workforce translates into greater customer confidence and a stronger renewable energy ecosystem,” he said.
He stressed that the programme is completely free for all participants, adding that the company deliberately removed financial barriers because access to quality technical education should not depend on one’s ability to pay.

Sessions at the masterclass combined classroom-style learning with live demonstrations, giving attendees direct interaction with technical experts and real-world applications of Kartel’s latest solutions.
Participants also explored innovations from sister brands including GenixGreen, Luxwatt, Ensky and Chisage ESS, gaining exposure to a broader portfolio of residential, commercial and industrial energy solutions increasingly demanded in the market.
