Trials of civil cases in High Courts across Ekiti State will be discontinued as from April 11 due to Easter recess, the Newsmen reports.
This is contained in a statement issued by the state Chief Judge, Justice John Adeyeye, and made available to newsmen on Monday in Ado-Ekiti.
Adeyeye said that the discontinuation notice was in line with Order 45, Rule 4 (B) of Ekiti State High Court (Civil Procedure) Rule, 2020.
He, however, said that normal court activities would resume April 25.
