Ecobank Nigeria, a subsidiary of the pan-African banking group, has launched its Super Rewards campaign, offering customers the chance to win over N60 million in cash and other prizes.
According to a statement released by the bank, the initiative was introduced to commemorate the 40th anniversary of its parent company, Ecobank Transnational Incorporated.
The campaign will run from September 2025 to January 2026, spanning five months, during which a total of 914 customers are expected to receive rewards worth N61.2 million.
Speaking at the launch event in Lagos, Head of Products and Analytics, Consumer and Commercial Banking at Ecobank Nigeria, Victor Yalokwu, said the programme is both a celebration of the Group’s four decades of service across Africa and a demonstration of appreciation for customer loyalty.
“This year’s campaign is a special celebration of Ecobank Group’s 40 years of operations across Africa, and it is designed to show appreciation to our customers by rewarding their loyalty as we continue to deliver first-class banking services,” Yalokwu said.
The campaign is open to new and existing customers, including individuals, businesses, schools, SMEs, and students. Dormant account holders who reactivate their accounts and meet the deposit and transaction criteria are also eligible. Monthly draws will be conducted, leading to a grand finale in January 2026.
Participants stand a chance to win cash prizes, stipends, scholarships, business support funds, and other lifestyle-enhancing rewards.
The breakdown of prizes includes N16.8 million for 420 individual customers through monthly draws, while eight winners will share a grand total of N8 million in January. In the business category, another 420 customers will share N16.8 million monthly, with four grand prize winners receiving N16 million to grow their enterprises.
For students, 50 participants will win N40,000 each monthly, totalling N2 million, while four others will receive educational grants worth N400,000 each, amounting to N1.6 million.
Yalokwu underlined the straightforward nature of the qualification process, encouraging widespread participation. New individual customers are required to open an account with a minimum deposit of N10,000 and maintain it for 30 days to qualify for monthly draws, while the grand prize category requires a minimum balance of N40,000 maintained over three consecutive months.
Business customers must open accounts with at least N40,000 and maintain the same balance, with eligibility for the grand prize requiring additional deposits of N400,000 or more. All customers are expected to transact via Ecobank’s digital platforms to qualify.
“We invite everyone to take part in this exciting opportunity and enjoy the benefits of banking with Ecobank while being rewarded for their loyalty,” Yalokwu added.
