Conoil Plc has proposed a ₦3.50 per 50 kobo share dividend for the 2024 financial year.
In a corporate disclosure on Monday, the oil company said the dividend, subject to shareholder approval, will be paid electronically on December 23 to shareholders whose names appear in the company’s Register of Members as at the close of business on November 25, 2025, provided they have completed the e-dividend registration.
The Register of Members will be closed from November 26 to 28 to prepare for dividend payment.
At the AGM, shareholders will consider the directors’ report, audited financial statements, and the reports of the auditors and statutory audit committee, also the election and re-election of directors, ratification of auditors’ appointment, disclosure of managers’ remuneration, and the election of members of the statutory audit committee.
The board has also proposed an ordinary resolution to fix the remuneration of non-executive directors.
In line with regulatory requirements, nominees to the statutory audit committee must be financially literate, with at least one member belonging to a professional accounting body recognised in Nigeria.
The company encouraged shareholders to take advantage of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Unclaimed Dividend Retrieval Process and to provide updated bank and CSCS account details to ensure smooth dividend payments.
