BUA Foods PLC has declared arevenue of ₦1.5 trillion for the full 2025 fiscal cycle, representing a 109% increase from the ₦729.4 billion recorded in the previous year.

The company’s audited financial statements, released on Monday, reveal that pre-tax profit soared to ₦289 billion, marking a 167% year-on-year growth despite significant macroeconomic headwinds and a sharp rise in foreign exchange losses.

The record-breaking revenue was primarily anchored by the company’s sugar and flour segments, which together contributed over 70% of total sales.

Fortified sugar sales accounted for ₦567.3 billion, while the bakery flour division generated ₦544.8 billion. Although the cost of sales rose to ₦984.9 billion due to the global increase in raw material prices, BUA Foods maintained a robust gross profit of ₦541.7 billion.

The company’s board noted that sustained investments in production capacity and supply chain automation were instrumental in navigating the inflationary environment and delivering significant value to shareholders as they transition into the 2026 financial year.
