Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has formally defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), marking a major political realignment in the North-Central state.
The defection was confirmed on Friday by the National Chairman of the APC, Nentawe Yilwatda, who announced the development via an official post on social media.
Mutfwang’s decision follows weeks of speculation over his political future amid deepening internal crises within the PDP at the national level.
