In what will go down as one of the greatest upsets in modern Champions League history, Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt sent shockwaves through Europe on Tuesday night, defeating Inter Milan 2-1 (5-2 on aggregate) at the San Siro.

Despite Inter’s pedigree as the 2025 runners-up, they looked toothless against Kjetil Knutsen’s disciplined side.

Bodo/Glimt now becomes the first-ever Norwegian club to win a knockout tie in the Champions League format. They join Newcastle United, Atlético Madrid, and Bayer Leverkusen in the Round of 16, with the final four spots to be decided in tonight’s clashes, including the high-stakes All-French battle between PSG and Monaco.
