Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Precious Ashiogwu, popularly known as Dede, has revealed that although she accepted Sultana’s apology over the infamous pee incident that occurred during their stay in the Big Brother house, the episode remains difficult to forget.
The issue resurfaced during the third episode of the BBNaija Season 10 Reunion, where Dede and Sultana confronted one another over the incident that became one of the most widely discussed controversies of the season after Sultana urinated in Dede’s box.
Speaking during the reunion show, Dede explained that while she chose to move forward after the apology, the experience had left a lasting impression.
“She apologised, I accepted the apology and we moved on, but have I accepted the apology? Absolutely not,” she said.
Responding to the allegation, Sultana insisted there was no deliberate attempt to offend or embarrass Dede. She attributed the incident to her state of intoxication at the time, maintaining that she had little recollection of what transpired.
“Even if I wanted to spite you, trust me, I wouldn’t pee in your box. There are other things I would do,” Sultana said.
Reiterating her position, she added: “I was really high. I don’t remember what I did.”
While defending herself against suggestions that the act was intentional, Sultana also turned her attention to fellow former housemate Doris, whom she accused of presenting the incident in a manner that damaged her reputation while portraying herself as the person who stepped in to resolve the situation.
Describing Doris as a “green snake under the green grass”, Sultana criticised the actor and ex-housemate for repeatedly recounting the episode in a way she believed cast her in a negative light.
“You don’t deserve any thank you from me,” Sultana told Doris during the heated exchange.
Doris, however, stood firmly by her actions, insisting that her involvement was motivated by concern and a desire to assist after the incident occurred. She also argued that her efforts warranted appreciation, particularly because she helped clean up the aftermath.
“We had to unpack the box. I had to hand-wash all the clothes and spread them, and not a single thank you came from Sultana’s mouth,” Doris said.
The confrontation formed part of a series of tense exchanges that characterised the third reunion episode, as former housemates revisited unresolved disputes and lingering tensions from their time in the Big Brother house.
The discussion also reignited conversations among viewers regarding accountability, forgiveness and the enduring effects of conflicts formed during reality television competitions, with many taking to social media to share differing views on the controversy and the reactions of those involved.
