Bago commiserates with Deputy over death of Aunt

Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has paid a condolence visit to his deputy, Comrade Yakubu Garba, following the passing of his aunt, Hajiya Hajara Nana Muhammad. 

The Governor, popularly known as the Farmer Governor, led a high-ranking delegation to the Deputy Governor’s official residence to offer his sympathies and support.

During the visit, Governor Bago encouraged his deputy to find strength in his faith, describing the loss as a reflection of the ultimate will of Allah. 

He paid a glowing tribute to the late Hajiya Hajara, characterizing her as an exemplary woman whose life of virtue and dedication served as a model for her community.

In his response, Comrade Yakubu Garba expressed deep appreciation for the Governor’s visit, noting that such gestures of love and solidarity have been a hallmark of their working relationship, particularly during times of personal grief. 

The visit concluded with special prayers offered for the deceased, asking for the forgiveness of her shortcomings and her admission into Aljannat Firdausi.

The Governor was accompanied by a delegation of top state officials, including the Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly, Abdulmalik Sarkindaji; the Secretary to the State Government, Abubakar Usman; the Chief of Staff, Abdullahi Usman Gbatamangi; the Deputy Chief of Staff, Sadiq Yusuf; and the Principal Private Secretary, Emmanuel Umar.
