The Ogun Assembly has lauded the administrative heads of the Ogun State Television (OGTV) and the State Hospital for their financial efficiency.
The assembly also admonished them to sustain the tempo of quality services delivered to the people.
The organisations’ management teams appeared before the Committee on Public Accounts in Abeokuta on Thursday as it continued to consider the 2023 Auditor-General’s reports.
The committee’s chairman, Damilare Bello, also applauded the hospital’s 93.68 per cent revenue performance.
However, he directed the hospital’s management to provide more relevant documents on some revenue heads, including drug laboratory and medical supplies.
He also asked for bank charges and cash inflow and outflow records for the period under review before Monday.
The committee lauded OGTV’s management strides in ensuring the station’s sustainability and improving the propagation of government developmental projects and societal issues without political bias.
Unanimously, the hospital’s Medical Director, Dr Bababunmi Osinaike and the General Manager, OGTV, Tunde Kassim, assured the committee of their commitment to sustain the strides.
