The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the grand finale of its campaign for the Osun State governorship election, with the event scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 13, 2026, in Osogbo.
The party said the rally would be held at Freedom Park, Osogbo, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
The event is expected to bring together APC leaders, members, supporters and other stakeholders as the party rounds off its campaign activities ahead of the governorship election.
In a statement contained in an invitation issued by the National Media and Publicity Sub-Committee for the APC Osun State Governorship Election, the party called on its supporters to attend the final rally in large numbers.
The invitation was issued under the leadership of the APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda.
The party described the event as the “GRAND FINALE” of its Osun State governorship campaign, signalling the conclusion of its major campaign engagements across the state.
According to the organisers, the rally is expected to provide an opportunity for party leaders and supporters to come together ahead of the election.
The statement urged “Party leaders, members, supporters and all stakeholders” to participate in the event.
The National Media and Publicity Sub-Committee is chaired by Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, who is coordinating the media and publicity activities surrounding the APC campaign.
The Thursday rally is expected to serve as the party’s final major mobilisation exercise before voters head to the polls.
With the election drawing closer, the APC is seeking to consolidate support for its candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO.
The party said the grand finale would further unite its supporters and reinforce its campaign message as it enters the final stage of the electoral contest.
