The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its timetable for the 2027 general elections, setting its presidential nomination form at the sum of N100 million.
According to a notice signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, the fee comprises N30m for the expression of interest form and N70m for the nomination form.
The party said the sale of forms will commence at its National Secretariat from April 25 to May 2, 2026, while the submission of completed forms will close on May 4.
Under the schedule, governorship aspirants are to pay N50m, while forms for the Senate, House of Representatives and State Houses of Assembly are pegged at N20m, N10m and N6m, respectively.
Screening of aspirants is slated for May 6 to May 8, with results to be released on May 11. Appeals arising from the screening exercise will be entertained between May 12 and May 13.
Presidential primaries are scheduled for May 15 and May 16. Primaries for the House of Representatives, Senate, State Houses of Assembly and governorship positions will hold on May 18, May 20, May 21 and May 23, respectively.
The party fixed May 25 for the conclusion of appeals across all categories, noting that all primary elections will be conducted within eight days.
However, the APC granted concessions to female aspirants, youths and persons living with disabilities, who are required to pay only the expression of interest fee and 50 per cent of the nomination fee.
The party said the timetable aligns with its constitution, the Electoral Act and guidelines issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
