The Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Osun State chapter, said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), All Progressives Congress (APC) and African Democratic Congress (ADC) have failed to rescue Nigerians from maladministration.
The party, in a statement signed on Thursday by its Osun State Chairman, Hon. Adewale Adebayo, disclosed that the people of Osun are tired of all the political parties that have been entrusted with power.
Adebayo stated that the party’s doors are open to willing residents and members who are disgruntled with the APC, PDP, and ADC, inviting them to join the party in order to elevate Osun to an enviable position among the comity of states.
According to the statement, “As the activities for 2026 Osun State Governorship election is on the top gear, we, Allied Peoples Movement (APM) have fixed December 13, 2025 for the primary election of our great party.
“As a party that is committed to democratic principles, we promise that the process will be fair to all aspirant contesting for our gubernatorial ticket.
“Presently, we have six aspirants jostling for our governorship ticket out of which one of them will emerge as our flag bearer on December 13.
“We are confident that whosever emerged as our flag bearer will win the guber seat, we will defeat the incumbent governor because our membership strength is the youth.
“Osun People are tired of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress(APC) even the African Democratic Congress(ADC) which part of its leadership is former Governor Rauf Aregbesola have shown that they can not rescue the state from its present maladministration.
“We want to charge all our aspirants and members not to employ campaign of calumny or hatred while canvassing for support ahead of the primary election.
“The party leaders are also enjoyed to woo more youths and elderly into our party, although during the Continuous Voters Registration(CVR) we have registered thousands of new voters but we must work on others who are not in our party to join the movement.
