The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed as false a report circulating in sections of the media regarding an alleged price list for expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 General Elections.

In a statement issued on March 28, 2026, the party said the report did not originate from it and should be disregarded.

The APC stated categorically that no decision has been taken on the sale or pricing of nomination forms for the 2027 elections.

According to the party, the report is “fake” and a product of misinformation.

“The attention of the APC has been drawn to a false and misleading report circulating in sections of the media regarding a purported ‘price list’ for expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 General Elections,” the statement read.

“To be clear, no decision or announcement has been made on the sale or pricing of forms for the 2027 elections. The report is a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination.”

The party urged its members, media organisations, and the general public to disregard the report in its entirety.

It also reiterated the need for stakeholders to verify information from official party channels before dissemination to avoid the spread of misinformation.

The statement was signed by Felix Morka, National Publicity Secretary of the APC.
