3 Oct 2026

The Association of Issuing Houses of Nigeria (AIHN) is set to celebrate 30 years of contributing to the development and advancement of the country’s capital market.

The event, themed ‘Three Decades of Catalysing Capital, Pioneering the Future and Enabling Wealth’, will hold on October 6 and 7, 2026, in Lagos.

The highlight of the event is the 30th Anniversary Awards Night and Dinner on the second day, which will bring together distinguished leaders and stakeholders from the capital market, financial services industry, business community, government and other sectors on October 7.

According to the Executive Committee of AIHN, on behalf of the entire membership, this year marks a significant milestone in the history of the association.

It stated, “For three decades, AIHN and its members have played an important role in mobilising capital, facilitating investments, supporting businesses and governments in accessing funding, and contributing to the growth and evolution of Nigeria’s financial markets.

“Our 30th anniversary is, therefore, an opportunity to celebrate not only the association’s journey, but also the people, institutions and partnerships that have shaped the capital market over the years.”

The awards will recognise outstanding contributions and achievements by stakeholders across the investment banking and capital market ecosystem, while also providing an opportunity for stakeholders to reflect and network.

Expected at the event are past executive committee members of AIHN, past directors-general of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and clients of the association.

The awards include Best DCM House of the Year, Best Equity House of the Year, Best M&A House of the Year and Best Investment Bank of the Year, among others.
