…says victory will be backed by record of service

The Adeleke Campaign Organisation has pledged to  a campaign based on substantive governance and policy, rejecting what it described as the inflammatory and personal attacks of the opposition.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the organization outlined a strategic roadmap for the upcoming governorship election, emphasizing its refusal to participate in the mud-slinging tactics it attributes to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The organization expressed disappointment in the current political discourse, characterizing recent verbal assaults on Governor Ademola Adeleke as a sign of intellectual bankruptcy within the opposition.

The campaign council maintained that these aggressive tactics indicate a loss of momentum for the APC candidate, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji.
In response, the Adeleke team has resolved to focus exclusively on marketing the Governor’s first-term achievements and his updated five-point developmental agenda for a potential second term.

By highlighting the progress made in infrastructure and social welfare since 2022, the organization aims to provide voters with a clear performance-based comparison.

The campaign leadership further asserted that the electorate’s judgment would be rooted in the tangible benefits delivered during the current administration rather than in political rhetoric.

The Adeleke Campaign Organisation further pledged full support for the safety of voters and the sanctity of the ballot across all phases of the election.

It vowed to work within the framework of the law to identify and thwart any attempts at electoral malpractice or voter intimidation, ensuring that the will of the people is accurately reflected in the final results.

Governor Adeleke concluded the statement by expressing confidence in a victory based on a record of service.

He noted that the opposition’s reliance on personal grievances serves as a tacit admission of their inability to compete on the merit of their own ideas.

The Governor reassured supporters that every vote would be protected, framing the upcoming poll as an opportunity for the state to continue its upward trajectory of growth and stability.
